SHS Placement Out Now: How to Check, Self Placement, etc

The SHS Placement has been released. Candidates, Parents and Guardians can now easily check and know the Senior High School they were placed.

However, candidates who do not get Automatic Placement can use the alternative, Self-Placement or Manual Placement on the CSSPS.

What is Self Placement?

Self Placement is a mode of school application which serves BECE candidates who originally did not get placement through Automatic Placement on the CSSPS.

How does WAEC Choose Schools for Candidates through CSSPS?

The CSSPS works based on the BECE grades of the candidate, choice of school and programme of study, if the candidate meets the school requirements, the system automatically sends the candidate there. However, when there are more people applying for same programme in the same school, the system is forced to use other methods like Grade Ones, Raw Score and Subject Performance.

How to Buy SHS Placement Checker

1. Visit ResultsChecker.com.gh with your smartphone or PC
2. Choose the card type you want to buy. eg: CSSPS Placement Checker
3. Enter the number of cards you want to buy and the amount will be automatically calculated
4. Click on “Buy Now”
5. You will be taken to a new screen where you enter your name and phone number (Card details will be sent via SMS to the phone number you enter here)
6. Click on “Proceed to Payment” On the next screen, choose Mobile Money and enter your MoMo number
7. You’ll be sent an OTP to confirm
8. Confirm the payment on your phone
9. You will instantly receive an SMS with the CSSPS Placement Checker details and instructions to check
