The chief director of Crystal Heights International School, Mr. Emmanuel Entse Dadziel, has made hints that the institution is working on a project to construct a university college soon.
“When everything is said and done, the university will train students in technical advancement and corporate business”.
Speaking at an inter-class competition held by the school at Shikpontele near Amasaman in the Ga West Municipality, the director added that electronics and robotics had been taught at the school starting at the elementary level to properly prepare students for careers as future manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and engineers.
This, according to him, showed how prepared the institution was to position itself to fulfill the academic and professional demands of Africa.
In September 2014, Crystal Heights International School opened its doors to 12 students and 9 teachers.
Having started off small, the school has now expanded to include classrooms for preschool, primary, and junior high in addition to a fully equipped library, computer lab, phonetic lab, mezzo mathematics classroom, French village, scientific lab, assembly hall, music center, and bus fleet.
The school takes pride in having highly qualified teachers who are driven to have an impact on teaching and learning in the children. The school won the first national mezzo mathematics competition held at the British Council in Accra.
The school’s headmaster, Mr. Mensah Emmanuel Yao, expressed gratitude to the Ghana Education Service for its assistance throughout the years.
“The school has accomplished a lot with their oversight, in-service training for the teaching staff, and encouragement,” he stated.
He said that the goal of Crystal Heights International School was to guarantee that its pupils received a strong academic, moral, spiritual, and physical education.
The Ga West municipality’s Shikpontele neighborhood, close to Amasaman, is where Chrystal Heights International School is situated.
