To become a Nurse Assistant in Ghana, you need to apply to a registered nursing school in Ghana, graduate and get certified. After your certification, you will be posted to a health facility or you can seek employment in the private sector.
The duration of a Nurse Assistant programme in Ghana is 2 years. This is shorter than Diploma in Nursing.
The salary of nurse assistants in Ghana is GHC2,000 monthly. Private hospitals and clinics offer different rates.
